Althing 2026 will take place in the Lower Mainland from Friday 26th June – Monday 29th June 2026.
The Althing is the Annual General Meeting of the Heathen Freehold.
Major decisions such as amendments to our by-laws and the acceptance of new members or kindreds is subject to approval by the Althing.
Althing generally takes place during the Summer months, with Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland taking turns at being the host territory.
Officer positions are elected every 3 years. The next election will take place at Althing 2027.
Although Althing is generally an in-person event, the Covid-19 pandemic forced the Freehold to go online, with Althings 2020-2022 being held via online platforms.
